Cowboy Up

This past Tuesday at mutual we had a Daddy-Daughter Cowboy Night for the girls. It was lots of fun. I even taught them a line dance (as best I could remember from good old Country Dancing at BYU-I). It was fun to dress up in all of my cowgirl things again. We also learned how to rope from a guy in the ward. It was a very fun night and I think the girls had a good time with their dads.
This past weekend it got warm enough to go outside and do some yard work. I got on my beloved mower for the first time in a year - it was glorious. We cleaned out flower beds, and got our garden ready to be planted next weekend (or whenever it warms up again - we woke up to snow today). June loved being outside. When we weren't looking she even ate dirt, and seemed to like it. The picture above is of her enjoying a stick, and the one below is of her chasing the cat. This cat just hangs around our house and June loves to watch it. She would love to catch it, but it doesn't let her come too close (plus, I don't want her touching it).
I just added this last picture because June looks so sweet. We were having lunch the other day and June just fell asleep in her chair. I just looked over and she was out like a light. You just can't help but love this girl.

I didn't know you were in YWs?! What is your calling? It was good to see you all dressed up for some country dancing! Good memories. June is a doll! I love that she is eating a stick, how hilarious is that! She is so sweet! I wish I could see her.

I'm in the YW too, so if you ever need ideas for YW Excellence, New Beginnings, or activities let me know. I've been in the YW for almost 5 years, so I've got some fun ideas. June is a cutie. June and Tahlia can play together when they are older, how fun.

So cute. I have similar pics of Sadie asleep in her high chair. They are so precious. O am I jealous that you got yard work done. We are just itching to get outside and clean up the leaves, mow the lawn, and rototill the garden! Maybe this weekend...if they snow stays away that long!
