Two Good Years

We celebrated our TWO year anniversary on Monday the 17th. It is crazy to think that we have been married that long, but then again I also feel like I have been with Sean for a lot longer than that. Anyway, it was a great day. We didn't do anything too spectacular since we were bringing June with us wherever we went, but it was fun none the less.

June loves "tubby time" and I recently got her this pink duck and Grandma JoAnn got her some little yellow ducks. She likes to stay in the tub until the water gets cold - I think she is going to be a little swimmer just like her mom!!!

This cute picture we included on our Christmas cards. June wouldn't smile when all three of us were taking pictures together, but the next day she was all smiles for me so I included this one so everybody could see what a happy baby I have. Merry Christmas to all.

First Times

The past few weeks have been busy ones for our baby June. She has done so many new things and it has been fun to watch her try things for the first time. I still find it hard to believe that she is 6 months old and that she really is mine to keep forever. The picture above is trying carrots for the first time.

This is what she really thought about the carrots. In fact, she thinks this about all the food I have tried to feed her. She still loves rice cereal, but all other foods she is tight liped about

This is just a cute picture of June with my cell phone. She loves to get her hands on that thing if it is anywhere close to her. She is a little rollie pollie girl so she can get wherever she wants now. This means that I have to keep both my eyes on her before she can roll into trouble!!

June is eating her first graham cracker - she made a mess, but she liked it.

Last weekend we went up into the mountains to get a Christmas tree. We took June with us and bundeled her up so she wouldn't get cold. Sean found this tree and we liked it so much that we brought it home. I will have to post a picture later of how it looks all decorated.

June looks pretty somber in this shot, but she really did like her sippy cup. Not so much drinking the juice on the inside, but chewing on the cup.

This last one I took this morning. I stood her up against the footstool and she balanced herself. I was so proud of her. She learnes things so dang fast it is just incredible to watch.

Sitting

June learned to sit up all by herself this past week. She is so good at it now that she barely ever falls over. She seems so grown up now and I don't know if I am ready for that. This past week at church she sat up for all the girls in YW and they were all very impressed - I think she likes to show off just a little bit!!!

On November 3rd my cousin Amy got married in the Salt Lake Temple. She looked so beautiful. Everything about that day was fabulous - it was a gorgeous Fall wedding. There was even an amazing firework show after the reception as well. Congratulations Clark and Amy.

This is another Halloween picture of the Trick-or-Treat kids. June really didn't go out door to door like the bigger kids. It was too cold for baby girls. My sister Rose, as a pink crayon, is holding June, Addy is "Jesse the yodeling cowgirl" from Toy Story II, Alex is a dead football player, Everett is Napoleon Dynamite, and Baron is a bank robber. I thought they were very cute costumes.

Happy Halloween

We had a Halloween Party this past Saturday night with some of our friends. It was a lot of fun with tons of good treats. We, the adults, didn't dress up, but our kids did. Both Carson, the other baby in the picture, and June were pea-pods. They were so dang cute together. Although, they didn't want to stay in their costumes for too long - they were too busy just to sit and look pretty. Below is a picture of the pumpkins we carved for our front step. Halloween is such a fun holiday!!!

Happy Birthday Rose

My sweet, sweet sister turned 12 years old on October 15th. Isn't she such a doll!!!! I can't believe that she is getting to be so old and grown up. She had her "friend" birthday party over the weekend, but the family party was on Monday night. She got lots of things, but her big present was a new bike. We all tried to convince her to get a cruiser bike, but she wanted this green mountain bike. She loves it - too bad it is getting a little cold to go riding outside. She had a pink crayon cake that my mom made, it was very cute as you can see. I love my sister to pieces and I hope she had a happy birthday.

My dear cousin Sarah made some bows for June to wear. I absolutely love them, and June looks so adorable in them. I am glad that I have family members who are talented in areas where I am not. Thanks again Sarah.

My June

These are just some recent pictures that I have taken of my girl, well this first one Kate actually took. Isn't June just gorgeous!!!

Most days she just loves her cereal, other days it is all over her mom.

Conference Weekend

Over Conference weekend my family rented a cabin up in Island Park and we enjoyed each other and the beautiful surroundings. I was expecting to get up there and take in the breathtaking Fall colors, but to my surprise I saw Winter in all its glory instead. It snowed most of the days while we were there. It was very pretty and Sean was wishing that he had brought his snowmobile instead of his hunting stuff.

We went through Yellowstone Park on Friday and it was a great day to go because there wasn't tons of people. It is always amazing to see all of those geysers. We also saw lots of wildlife along the way. I was hoping to see a bear because supposedly they are everywhere this year, but alas, we didn't see one.

While the men were at the Priesthood session us girls had a spa party. We got pedicures and painted our toenails in pink. Even June got her piggy toes painted!!! We got to watch Pride and Prejudice as well - it is pretty much a perfect girl movie. Sean never watches those kind of shows with me so it was fun to watch it with 3 of my favorite people in the world - my mom, sister, and baby girl.

Sean on top of the 9th highest peak in Idaho!!!

Sean and his favorite "tubby time" baby girl

Tagged

I have been "tagged" - I have never done this before, but here we go:

My husband. . .

How old is he? Sean just turned 24

Who said I love you first? He did

Who is taller? Hmmm, this is a tough one. OK, he is taller by over a foot.

Who sings better? Me, but probably only because Sean has only been singing since his mission.

Who does the laundry? Me

Who does the dishes? Both of us

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Me - it is closer to June.

Who cooks dinner? Me, but he helps out sometimes.

Who drives when you are together? Him

Who is more stubborn? Me again (blast)

Who is the first to admit when they're wrong? Him

Whose parents do you see the most? Mine, a fact that he reminds me of often.

Welcome Home Elder

Welcome Home Elder

On Friday September 21, 2007 at approximately 9:45 PM Elder Stuart Rammell arrived home from successfully fulfilling and serving his mission in the Philippines. I can't tell you how good it is to have him home again. Two years is a really long time to have not seen my dear brother.

Stuart loved his mission and learned so much while he was there. He has some pretty amazing stories to tell. He is still the same great guy who I love and he doesn't even have that weird "just returned Elder" syndrome. My whole family is very much enjoying having him back around. We spent the whole weekend together having fun with Stuart again. We went to Harry Potter one afternoon and Stuart slept through half of it (bad idea I guess). Tons of our family came up to see Stuart as well. I think my mom said that 22 people stayed the night at her house on Saturday and that there were 52 people who came and had dinner on Sunday after Stuart reported his mission/talked in church. Stuart did do and excellent job speaking on Sunday - it is very apparent how much he has grown spiritually since he left. The pictures above are of Stuart at the airport and right before he got released the next day, Kate and I at my mom's on Sunday, and just a picture of June that I think is too cute not to post!!!

Attention!!!

This is a special message for Andrew Rammell.

Uncle Art says that the Miami Dolphins were a worthy opponent and that the Dallas Cowboys were lucky to have beat them - especially because the game was in Miami.

Sean's Birthday

This is the cake that my mom and I made for Sean.

Sean and Brett with their presents.
We celebrated Sean's 24th birthday on Friday September 12th. I started out the day by making him french toast with a candle in it for breakfast before he had to go to school. My mom and I made a killer "monster truck" cake for Sean. It wasn't really that big, but it was very cute. It reminds me of the trucks from Cars the Disney movie. That mom of mine is pretty amazing - she can do anything!!!!!! Later that day we had the actual birthday party out at my in-laws house. We were celebrating 3 birthdays all at one time - Sean's, his twin brother Brett's, and his oldest brothers. It was lots of fun and there were tons of candles to blow out - I was surprised we didn't set off the smoke alarm. We all had a good time celebrating the boys getting older and hopefully wiser!

Summer Fades Away

We have been trying to enjoy the last few weeks of Summer as much as we can. Sean starts school again on Wednesday, and I start my new job on Thursday. Well, it's not really a job, but more of playtime. I am going to watch my darling niece Alli while her mom goes to school twice a week. I think it will be good for both June and me.

Last weekend it was Labor Day and we did lots with both sides of the family. We had a "camp-out" with the Marshall's in my in-laws backyard. Yes this may sound a bit odd, but it was fun. There was tons of food, two birthday's to celebrate, and my soon to be sister-in-law was even there. The men went dove hunting the next morning and were very sucessful - I think they shot 23 doves. We played softball with the whole family as well. Sunday we went over to my mom and dad's for some tasty Halibut. I was pleasantly surprised to see two of my favorite cousins while I was there - Sarah and Kate. They were up visiting with their husbands and cute kids!!! I love when they come to town. On Labor Day we went to Teton Valley to see the old Rammell homestead and to visit the grandparents.

This past week we went swimming in our pool (for probably the last time because it has gotten COLD). Sean and I got to play softball with his brothers team because they needed some more players. I love to play, so I had a blast and I even had a few "Web Gems" if any of you even know what those are!!! The NFL season started and my favorite player and team both won - go Peyton Manning and the Dallas Cowboys. June has also been a busy girl. She is now eating rice cereal and sleeping longer during the night (I am loving life). She also just learned to roll over from her back to her tummy. Way to go June!!!! Also, Elder Rammell will now be home in 10 days. I can't wait to see his little Filippino face.

Jumping June

I got the beloved "Jumping Jack" from my mom and I have been putting June in it this past week. The first time she looked up at me and bawled, but after that first tragedy she has done pretty good. She now is really starting to catch on - I am so proud of my smart girl. It is so cute to watch her as she figures the whole jumping thing out. I think in a few more days she will be a jumping Queen!!

I am really getting into this blogging thing. Sean thinks I am a little nuts, but that's ok. I loved reading the comments that my family put on my page - it made me feel a lot closer to them even if they are all over the country.

I have decided to go back to a few weeks ago and tell about our family vacation to Glacier National Park. We went with my family and we all had a blast. It was a road trip, so it was a lot of driving, but it was beautiful country all along the way. The first day we went to Craters of the Moon and then up to Red Fish Lake. I love to swim, so I was in hog heaven at the Lake. The water there was so clear and it was surrounded by the Sawtooth Mountains so it was very pretty. The second day we went up through Montana, which is actually not that bad of a state, and stopped at some historical sights along the way. The third day we went through Glacier National Park. I didn't know much about this place before I went, but it has some breathtaking views. We went on this road called "The Road to the Sun," and it took us on this steep winding road to the "Crown of the Continent." It was so beautiful up their. We took a hike and saw white mountain goats, big horn sheep, and deer all right on the trail - it was sweet. We also got to swim in some glacier lakes while we were in the park. They were pretty dang cold, but after your body gets num they it wasn't too bad!! The next day we went up into Canada. Those Canadians weren't too friendly, but it was cool to say that I was in Canada. We visited the Cardsten Temple while we were there as well. The next day we drove all the way home, it was a very long day.

It was a great trip and my baby June was such a good traveler. I have attached some of the pictures that we took along the way. I hope you all enjoy.
