Jumping June

I got the beloved "Jumping Jack" from my mom and I have been putting June in it this past week. The first time she looked up at me and bawled, but after that first tragedy she has done pretty good. She now is really starting to catch on - I am so proud of my smart girl. It is so cute to watch her as she figures the whole jumping thing out. I think in a few more days she will be a jumping Queen!!

I am really getting into this blogging thing. Sean thinks I am a little nuts, but that's ok. I loved reading the comments that my family put on my page - it made me feel a lot closer to them even if they are all over the country.

I have decided to go back to a few weeks ago and tell about our family vacation to Glacier National Park. We went with my family and we all had a blast. It was a road trip, so it was a lot of driving, but it was beautiful country all along the way. The first day we went to Craters of the Moon and then up to Red Fish Lake. I love to swim, so I was in hog heaven at the Lake. The water there was so clear and it was surrounded by the Sawtooth Mountains so it was very pretty. The second day we went up through Montana, which is actually not that bad of a state, and stopped at some historical sights along the way. The third day we went through Glacier National Park. I didn't know much about this place before I went, but it has some breathtaking views. We went on this road called "The Road to the Sun," and it took us on this steep winding road to the "Crown of the Continent." It was so beautiful up their. We took a hike and saw white mountain goats, big horn sheep, and deer all right on the trail - it was sweet. We also got to swim in some glacier lakes while we were in the park. They were pretty dang cold, but after your body gets num they it wasn't too bad!! The next day we went up into Canada. Those Canadians weren't too friendly, but it was cool to say that I was in Canada. We visited the Cardsten Temple while we were there as well. The next day we drove all the way home, it was a very long day.

It was a great trip and my baby June was such a good traveler. I have attached some of the pictures that we took along the way. I hope you all enjoy.

This is me, Caroline Pearl, and my husband Sean

I'm New

Hello, I am a complete novice at this whole Blogger thing, but it looks like fun so I am going to give it a try. I have been reading my cousins Sarah, Kate, and Jenna's blogs all summer and their blogs have inspired me to start my own. Although, their lives seem a whole lot more exciting than my own. Mostly I just want to show off my sweet baby girl June. She is the joy of my life and I love being her mom. I am still amazed that she really is mine.

Sean and I still live outside of Idaho Falls in a little farm house and we love being out in the country. I can swim in my pool and not have to worry if the neighbors think I am crazy because I still swim in a "kid pool." Sean is working construction full time right now because BYU-I is on an 8 week vacation. I get to stay at home with my girl everyday. We do go to Grandma Nae's quit often to visit (June just loves her Aunt Rose). I suppose our life isn't action packed, but we do have a good time together.

Hopefully I will get the hang of this blogging thing and my entries will be better!!
